Deck builder in Berthoud CO
Berthoud began as a railroad stop called Little Thompson in the 1870s, and in the winter of 1883 to 1884 the town was literally moved: buildings were loaded on wheels and hauled by draft animals a mile north, up onto the bluff where downtown sits now, so locomotives wouldn't have to climb out of the river bottom. Irrigation from the Little and Big Thompson turned the uplands into farms, and the town's welcome sign still calls it the Garden Spot of Colorado.
US 287 was rerouted around downtown in 2007. Berthoud's older town lots and newer homes suit the full range of deck work, from a pergola over a garden patio to a covered patio or a new composite deck.

Footings and snow
Berthoud's list doesn't give design numbers. Every nearby office that publishes them uses a 30 inch frost depth, and ground snow figures of 30 to 35 psf in the neighboring towns; the footing depth and snow load guidesets them out. Confirm Berthoud's own with the Building Department.
Berthoud deck and pergola prices
Berthoud prices follow the Denver market: about $22 to $55 per square foot for a new deck, $30 to $60 per square foot for a pergola (Angi national) or $25.60 to $52.20 for wood in the Denver area, and $20 to $50 per square foot for a patio cover. The pergola cost page works out sizes.
